George Shawah, MAI

George Shawah Jr. serves as the President of Baldwin Pearson & Co, Inc. With an illustrious career spanning over four decades, George has honed his expertise in commercial real estate, specializing in sales, lease transactions, and appraisals throughout Connecticut, with a particular emphasis on Greater Fairfield County.

His journey in the real estate arena commenced in 1982, post-graduation from Muhlenberg College, when he joined forces with his father, George Shawah Sr., at Baldwin Pearson. Since then, George has emerged as a respected member of the local real estate community.

Hailing from Bridgeport, George possesses an intimate knowledge of the city. Over the years, he has orchestrated the sale, lease, and appraisal of some of the region’s most iconic properties, establishing himself as the go-to expert for owners and operators seeking guidance on property valuation.

George’s stature as one of the most esteemed commercial appraisers in the State is underscored by his MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. Beyond the confines of the real estate world, George finds solace in fishing, golfing, and cherishing moments with his family in Easton.

Daniel Shawah, CPA

Daniel Shawah is a key member of the transaction team at Baldwin Pearson, specializing in the sale of multifamily, mixed use, development, and industrial properties throughout Greater Fairfield County.

Prior to joining the family business, Daniel spent five years brokering investment sales in Brooklyn, NY with two prominent real estate firms. During his tenure, Daniel sourced, negotiated and closed approximately $60,000,000 in total sales volume and was involved in transactions totaling approximately $200,000,000 in total sales volume. In recognition of the transactions Daniel has worked on, he earned numerous individual awards at his prior firms and was featured in Real Estate Weekly in February 2021 as a Rising Star in New York City real estate.

Prior to joining the real estate field, Daniel held a variety of roles at private and public investment firms, with a particular focus on real estate investments. Daniel is a licensed CPA in New York and his background in finance, tax, and accounting are available to provide valuable guidance to his clients throughout the transaction process. Daniel graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Accounting and holds an M.S. in Accounting from Hunter College. In his free time Daniel enjoys exercising, playing sports, cooking, and spending time with his wife and family.
